Sandford, on the eastern shore, begins after Lauderdale and ends on the neck near South Arm. Interestingly, Cremorne and Clifton are separate suburbs within the Sandford area. Covering a large area it includes waterfront reserves, parks, trails and recreational areas used by horse riders, mountain bikers and walking clubs. Small (1 Ha) and larger acreages abound in Sandford which is known for its lack of frost and is a 25 minute drive into the CBD.
